Greener Kitchens loves Good Wood
They may not always look like it when they are finished with shiny paint, colourful laminate or a stainless steel veneer, but kitchens are essentially made of wood. Infact, there is a lot of wood in them. Kitchens are likely to be the largest amount of wood in your home after your framing and your flooring. Where is this wood coming from? Are you destroying one world to build yours?

What is ‘Good Wood’ you ask? Greenpeace is helping us to make very responsible choices when it comes to timber products that are conscientious thanks to their ‘Good Wood Guide’. It reminds us that as consumers our choices have the power to save the world’s forests, the endangered wildlife that live in them and put an end to illegal forestry practices. It gently awakens us to the damage we might be responsible for if we do not ask for ‘Good Wood’ in our kitchens.
